Tiling and shower regrouting in Sydney
Grout that has blown out, a cracked tile, a threshold that has come apart. Tile repairs where the detail is the job.

Where tiling fails, and how far in the damage has gone
Grout that has gone dark, crumbly or missing
Grout is the part of a tiled floor that fails first, and it fails quietly. Once a line has blown out, water is getting behind the tile rather than running off it, and the fix gets more expensive every month you leave it.
- Old grout raked out rather than skimmed over
- Regrouted in a colour matched to what is there
- Silicone cut out and replaced at every internal junction
- Movement joints left as joints, not filled with grout
Old grout raked out, ready to regroutDoorways, thresholds and edges
The strip of floor in a doorway takes every trolley wheel, every dropped bag and all the water walked in from outside. It is where tiling comes apart first, and repairing it properly means dealing with what is under the tile as well as the tile.
- Loose and drummy tiles, the ones that sound hollow when you tap them, lifted rather than re-grouted in place
- Bed checked and made good before anything goes back down
- Tiles matched from your spares where you have them
- Edge trim or a threshold strip fitted where the junction needs one

A wet area is a waterproofing job with tiles on top. We do repairs, regrouting, resiliconing and tile replacement. Where a shower needs the waterproof membrane redone, that is licensed waterproofing work, and we will tell you rather than tile over the problem.
- Cracked and drummy tiles replaced, falls checked to the waste
- Shower screens resealed and silicone renewed
- Splashbacks and small wall areas tiled
- Honest advice where a repair is not the right answer

Tile and grout detail from our own jobs
Real photographs from our own jobs. These are wet areas we were called into, so they show the set out and the detail we work on rather than a bathroom we tiled from scratch.

- The small jobs are the whole business. A door, a fence panel, a list of five things. That is the work we are set up for, not the leftovers between big jobs.
- You get the price before we start. Quotes are free and in writing, itemised, valid 30 days, and the quote says what is not included. Nothing is due on labour up front, and you can cancel at no cost before materials are ordered.
- We say no when it is not our job. We do not do waterproofing. Waterproofing a wet area is licensed work in NSW and we will not pretend otherwise. A full bathroom retile needs several licensed trades and is worth the extra quotes.
- Up to 5 years on our workmanship. 5 years on what we build new, 3 years on repairs to what was already there. On top of your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which no warranty can take away.
What people ask about tiling
If you have spares, easily. Without them, matching an older tile is genuinely hard because sizes and glazes change between batches, let alone between years. Where we cannot match, options are borrowing a tile from inside a vanity or under an appliance, or making a feature of the repair. We will show you both.
If the tiles are sound and only the grout has failed, regrouting is much cheaper and lasts. If tiles are drummy underfoot, the bed has let go and regrouting only buys a few months. Tapping across the floor tells us which one you have.
No. Waterproofing a wet area is licensed work in NSW and we will not pretend otherwise. We do the tiling repairs, the regrouting and the silicone, and where a membrane has failed we will tell you what we can see and what needs a waterproofer.
Generally 24 hours after grouting and silicone, longer in a cold or humid week. Silicone in particular needs air, so we will give you a time before we leave rather than a guess.
Full bathroom renovations involve waterproofing, plumbing and often electrical, which means several licensed trades. We do the repair and maintenance end of tiling. For a full retile you want a bathroom renovation company, and it is worth the extra quotes.
