Walls, ceilings and trim done together, so the room reads as one finished space instead of a wall that has been patched. Most of that result is preparation you never see: filling, sanding and cutting in by hand. Anyone quoting a day for a whole house is skipping it.

On a rendered wall the paint is doing a job, not just a colour. In Sydney the western and northern walls take the hardest hit, so they chalk and fade years before the rest of the house does, and washing them down before painting is not optional.

A commercial repaint is a scheduling problem as much as a painting one. The ceiling in a laundromat or a shop can only be done around trade, so the work gets broken up and each section gets left usable at the end of the shift.

The jobs a builder will not take are the jobs we are built for.
- The small jobs are the whole business. A door, a fence panel, a list of five things. That is the work we are set up for, not the leftovers between big jobs.
- You get the price before we start. Quotes are free and in writing, itemised, valid 30 days, and the quote says what is not included. Nothing is due on labour up front, and you can cancel at no cost before materials are ordered.
- We say no when it is not our job. We will not paint over mould without treating it first, and we will not paint a surface that keeps getting wet from something we have not fixed. Electrical, plumbing and gasfitting are licensed trades, and we refer waterproofing out as well.
- Up to 5 years on our workmanship. 5 years on what we build new, 3 years on repairs to what was already there. On top of your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which no warranty can take away.
What people ask about painting
Either. Most people let us supply it so the coating suits the surface, and the paint appears as its own line on the quote. If you have a colour already on hand we will happily use it, and we will tell you if we do not think it belongs on that surface.
Two coats over a prepared surface as standard. A strong colour change, a patch repair or bare surface underneath can need a primer or a third coat, and that gets quoted before we start rather than added afterwards.
Not without dealing with it first. Paint over mould comes back through within months. We wash it down and treat it, and if the mould is coming from a leak or no ventilation we will tell you, because painting will not fix that.
If you have the paint tin or a colour code, yes. Without one, a coloured chip cut from a hidden spot can be matched at a paint shop. A match on a wall that has faded for ten years will still show a difference next to the old paint, so on a feature wall we usually suggest doing the whole wall.
Yes. Our workmanship carries 5 years on new work and 3 years on repairs. That covers how it was applied. It does not cover the paint product itself, which carries the manufacturer's own warranty, and it does not cover a surface that keeps getting wet from something we did not fix.
